Making Progress

Whew! Finally, I’m making progress on several projects: website is being updated as I type, dishwasher is busily cleaning the dishes used to make tonight’s treat for the writers’ group and I’ve finished the background for the baby quilt. All the fabric strata are sewn and are waiting to be cut into tiny pieces so I can sew them back together again. Quilting really is stupid, isn’t it?

Here are examples of some previous baby quilts:

For my friend, Norma. I believe this was for Allison

For my first cousin, once removed, Ty

For my friend, Norma. This one was for Lillian.

  1. Well, it’s about time. I admire you quilting ability. One of the many things I can’t do, though I tried mightily to please my mother who thought I should do something productive to make up for spending all that time at the keyboard with nothing to show for it. She came around when she read my first western romance in published form. Beautiful quilts. See you tonight.

  2. Claire, your quilts are as colorful and beautiful as you are!

  3. Aaaw, Jan, how nice. 🙂

  4. Oooh a treat?

Your quilts are beautiful! So, what’s the web address?

  5. I love the color schemes. You are extremely multi-talented!

  6. Thanks, Russell. 🙂
